Setting The CRM URL Field

Salesforce

For Salesforce.com, setting the CRM URL field is only needed to use a Salesforce Sandbox. The URL would typically be similar to https://test.salesforce.com

Contact your Salesforce.com support for your exact URL.

SugarCrm

For SugarCrm, setting up the CRM URL field is required. An example of a SugarCrm URL is http://localhost:8082/sugarcrm.soap.php. To test your URL setting, open this same page in your browser and you should see a screen that looks like:

If the URL is incorrect, on the CRM Setup screen you may see the following errors:

CRM login failed: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused. This indicates SugarCRM can cannot be communicated with at the specified address and port.

CRM login failed: (404)Not Found. The url of soap.php is not valid (the soap.php file was not found on your SugarCrm server).

Looking at the JIRA server log and the SugarCrm log may help you determine the proper url.
