Storm AI Configuration
It requires Jira Administrator permission to do any configurations.
This feature is available with v12.0 and newer version.
Install ‘Storm AI for Jira’ App
To activate TestRay AI features, please install ‘Storm AI for Jira’ app first.
Install from Installer (.jar) File
Please contact us for app installer file, once you get the installer file, follow below steps to install it on your Jira server together TestRay app.
Login to Jira as a system administrator, then click the “COG” icon in the top right corner of the page and select “Manage apps”
Select “Manage apps” from left navigation panel
Click “Upload app” link
Browse to ‘Storm AI for Jira’ installer file
Click “Upload” button
Wait a minute and it will be successfully installed to your Jira server
Once Storm AI is installed, then TestRay AI features will be activated for further configuration and usage.
Install from Atlassian Marketplace
Below are the steps to install the app directly from the Atlassian Marketplace
Login to Jira as a system administrator, then click the “COG” icon in the top right corner of the page and select "Add-ons"
Select “Add-ons” from the administration menu
In the “Find new add-ons” page and search for Storm AI
The Storm AI for Jira app will be listed, then click “Install” button
Wait a minutes and it will be successfully installed to your Jira server
Once Storm AI is installed, then TestRay AI features will be activated for further configuration and usage.
System Configuration
AI system configuration page can be launched from: Jira Administration->Manage apps->SYNAPSERT->Storm AI
This feature is available with v12.0 and newer version.
Enable ‘Storm AI for Jira’ first to turn AI related features in TestRay.
Once it is enabled, additional configuration options will be displayed for further configuration.
TestRay Project
The Jira projects in this page are from TestRay enabled project list, please refer to: Configuration
You can enable/disable TestRay AI features from TestRay project list.
AI Service
User needs to subscribe for the AI service you wish to use, and put AI service information in this section in order to let app communicate with AI during data creation.
Project Configuration
Project configuration is available for TestRay AI features enabled Jira project/s.
Project configuration page can be launched from: <Jira Project>->AI Configuration (left navigation panel).
Choose the AI service for each data generation item, AI service/s available in the list are from the ones configured in system configuration page.
Update ‘Prompt’ if necessary.
Now, all configurations are done! Be happy to enjoy TestRay AI features!
